Town and Country Foods Partners with Health Dimensions to Bring Added Benefits to Phoenix Area Employees
November 17th, 2008Town & Country Foods Inc. announces a new program in cooperation with Health Dimensions to introduce our Home Food Service to Phoenix Children’s Hospital 2,300 employees and Honeywell-Union Hills and their 1,200 employees.
Our “system of the future” delivers a customized menu designed to meet the specific needs of each household. All natural meats, certified organic vegetables and seafood are delivered in individually vacuum sealed, portion controlled servings that thaw very quickly for gourmet meals on the run. Complimenting these main dinner items are pastas, pizza and a wide variety of quick meals and deserts.
The Town & Country Foods System is delivered to the home in a budget friendly quantity that reduces impulse purchasing, unplanned eating out, labor costs of the retail system and inflation. Town & Country’s inflation rate on food the past 15 years has averaged 2%, in comparison to reports of food going up as much as 20% per year in some markets at the grocery store.
Our environmentally friendly system saved an estimated 2,400,000 miles driven for our customers, 1,000,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide in reduced gas emissions and 1,500,000 styrofoam containers last year alone if our customers only saved two trips per month to the grocery store.
