AV Planners Targets Digital Advertising at Bob Hope Airport with New Digital Signage Software

November 1st, 2009

Los Angeles, CA – October 27, 2009 – AV Planners, Inc., an industry leading audio visual and digital signage solution provider, today announces that they are working together with the Bob Hope Airport authority in Burbank CA, to implement a passenger-friendly digital signage solution to improve airport efficiencies and passenger satisfactions. The launch date of the project will be in the First quarter of 2010.
AV Planners offers a solution that is used to create and manage all types of digital content shown in airports on a multitude of electronic displays including LCD, plasma and LED boards. AV Planners’ enterprise-class digital signage media software interfaces with existing flight information databases as a content source and as a mean of triggering appropriate, location specific content on the screens. AV Planners also offers a turnkey solution that includes hardware installation, software and content development.
AV Planners utilizes software that fits the specific needs of airport passengers. It allows automatic updated information to be shown in the language appropriate to the current flight schedule. Other functions include: around the world to aid facility navigation, improve Customs and Immigration procedures, display targeted messages in multiple languages, and inform and entertain passengers. In additions, the software can also be used to manage interactive facility maps, directional instructions and baggage claim information displays. This improves the flow of human traffics throughout the airport, resulting in better passenger satisfactions.
“As the airport industry expands the use of digital signage, passengers rely on digital signage for dynamic, real time content such as flight, gate and baggage information, menu boards, wayfinding, advertising and even visual paging.” said Craig Heiman, the CEO of AV Planners, Inc. “AV Planners is helping airports rethink the role of these screens to improve passenger satisfactions and operational efficiency.”
