Oxford, England, July 05 2009 — A busy mum of two, is hoping to earn a million to pay for her dream family home by offering to complete any suggested task, for any proposed fee!
This bespoke, unique service opportunity allows users to specify what task they need carrying out, choosing how, where, and by when they would like it completed and how much they would be willing to pay for the service.
Chrissi Sharkey 28, set up aMillionJobsToDo.com after becoming fixated on a house in her local area and dreaming of how she could raise the funds to purchase it. Sharkey states “Although I find my current career as a textiles teacher extremely rewarding, I know that I am never going to make my fortune doing it. Nobody is going to give me the money and if I want to make my dream a reality, I need to create the opportunity for myself.”
To achieve her dream, Chrissi is following a simple formula: £1,000,000 = Profit x Jobs. Any task will be considered for a minimum sum of £1, she will complete each job with the same commitment and enthusiasm, regardless of how much she stands to make. In theory she could actually have to complete a million tasks worth £1 each but hopes it will be fewer jobs worth more profit!
Sharkey says “Most people already have a million and one things to do. Some of us create ‘to do lists’ that we strive to complete. Even the most organised of people tend to be left with stubborn, unachievable tasks that get carried over to a new list but aMillionJobsToDo will allow people to pass those jobs on for completion for a small fee.”
Tasks can be carried out remotely or in person and the fee can be negotiated to ensure that both parties feel they are getting a good deal. All she asks in return is that clients spread the word of her service.
Despite the site only being live for 4 days Sharkey has already had her first orders and her tally currently stands at £140.00.
