Baby Onesies: Estella Launches Fall 2012 Collection

October 15th, 2011

Estella, the beloved Greenwich Village kids clothing store, has launched its most compelling collection of baby onesies yet. This line includes soft cotton baby rompers for baby boys and baby girls, including baby suits and baby dresses. The line ranges from classic stripes and florals to more playful, graphic prints and metallic polka dots.

Striped Baby Suits

Estella’s classic striped baby boy rompers are realized in new, two-tone striped combinations: there’s a classic pencil-striped romper in navy/ecru and grey/ecru and bolder two-tone tonal combinations of turquoise, olive and sky blue.

Patch Baby Rompers

Estella has expanded our romper offering by creating a new, graphic patch romper. We’ve created solid, heather-colored rompers and given them striped kangaroo pockets and elbow pads. A commercial success, this romper comes in grey, oatmeal, turquoise and navy.

Printed Baby Bodysuits

Estella’s new line also includes its first ever line of silk-screened graphic baby rompers. Inspired by a bit of humor and a dose of classic elegance, the graphic rompers contain an eclectic collection of original prints:

• a gentle, giant wooly mammoth dreaming of a comb realized on a blue romper;

• a hand-drawn bold red star print to celebrate the meaning of Estella printed on an striped army green romper;

• a playful red circus tent printed on a heather-grey romper

• a beautiful, hand-drawn antique bicycle image on a heather-turquoise romper

• a classic, hand-drawn heart print on a purple romper; and

• a hand-drawn fawn print with the text, “ma cherie,” on a soft lavender baby girl’s romper

• a mustache & glasses print in florescent green brought to life on a grey romper;

Baby girl’s dresses

Estella has not forgotten the baby girls in our Fall 2012 collection. We have a very popular collection of beautiful, comfortable baby dresses as well:

• Emma Knit: a two-tone knit baby dress that is offered in two ways. The first dress is a solid one-piece with a striped skirt overlay and comes in a navy/ navy stripe combination as well as a grey/ grey stripe combination. The two-tone knit baby dress also comes in solid colors and is offered in a purple bodice with a grey skirt overlay as well as a lavender bodice with a clay skirt overlay.

Because of Emma’s success last year, we’ve also created a dressier version for Fall 2012. We’ve taken the same soft cotton one-piece and this year, we’ve added a woven skirt overlay. The Emma knit/woven is available in two classic floral prints and one eye-popping, metallic polka dot print.

Natural Baby Products: A natural way to promote health and safety of your child

November 29th, 2008

Due to worry about the effects of chemicals on babies and concern about the environment, many parents have chosen to use organic baby products for their children. Natural baby items and eco-friendly products are easy for the earth, easy for the skin and do not contain any toxins which are found in a large number of chemical based baby products.

There are growing debates regarding potential health related effects of chemicals which seep from some kinds of plastics, especially their effects on the delicate babies. Recent headlines have raised concerns about soft vinyl teethers, bottles and toys which infants use to chew or suck. Experts have recommended the parents to dispose any such plastic or chemical based products they have bought for their child and start using natural baby products such as organic baby t-shirts. It is a fact that skin of babies is very delicate and is more prone to develop effects like rashes from chemicals which are included in the baby’s skin care products. Therefore, keeping in view the delicate skin of the babies, an extensive array of organic baby skin care products have been made available in the market. Researches show that most of the non-organic baby skin care products are not safety tested and thus using them upon your baby’s skin contains potential risks. Studies have suggested that many non-organic baby skin care products contain anti-freeze which is strong enough to kill an animal upon ingestion. So, it is not at all wise to put your baby at such a great risk.

There is a wide array of organic baby products which range from clothing and cribs to diapers and food products. All these eco-friendly products are not only risk-free for your baby but also helpful in saving the environment. Products made of plastic and other chemical based products are responsible for causing harm to your child as well as to the environment as a whole.

One of the most accepted and popular natural baby products is the organic baby bedding. These are ideal for people who want to avoid the ill-effects caused by harmful chemical based products used on the cotton farms. Most of such organic baby bedding products makes use of naturally grown cotton which do not utilize chemicals used in traditional cotton farms. Organic baby bedding is also perfect for people whose children have asthma or certain allergies. This is due to the fact that lots of chemicals are used in making non-organic bedding and sheets which encourage asthma and cause allergies in the delicate babies.

Organic clothing is also one of the most popular organic baby products available in the market. These organic clothing items such as organic baby t-shirts are extremely useful for babies who have problems related to skin sensitivity. A large number of people have noticed that these skin allergy and asthma related problems have completely disappeared after starting use of organic clothing. Whatever the eco-friendly products you choose, these products are become necessary for people who want to shop in an environmentally aware fashion. So, whenever you go out shopping for your baby, make sure to consider buying some of these organic baby t-shirts and see the difference. For more information visit at www.purebaby.com
