WORLD’S LARGEST search engine company Google has finalized a deal with National Security Service that will help to investigate official espionage,  and attacks that may come from China. The aim of this deal is to improve Google, prevent its users from hackers attacks in future.

The Director of Greenpeace in Spain, Juan López de Uralde, was finally freed on January 14th 2010 from the Copenhague prison where he and his supporters from the organization were being held after they were arrested. They managed to make their way into the banquet hall and brandish protest banners during a dinner hosted by the Queen of Denmark to celebrate the Copenhagen Climate Summit held in December. These activists had been rejected bail by the Danish authorities and have spent Christmas and New Years behind bars with no access to media or lawyers, in “preventive custody”.

During their 20 days of confinement the prisoners were not allowed to receive visitors. Several demostrations have been held both in Spain and in Copenhagen over the past three weeks in protest to the decision made by the Danish authorities to refuse to release them on bail.

On his release yesterday, Lopez de Uralde said that their protest had been peaceful, and made a mockery of the “excessive” response of the Danish authorities down to the fact that Danish security forces had been shamed since the Greenpeace activists had found it so easy to get past security and enter what was the Summit’s most high-profile social event, hosted by Denmark’s Head of State and attended by many world leaders.

Lopez thanked supporters for the protests and said that if it hadn’t been for the constant pressure put on the Danish authorities, he and his colleagues would have been “left to rot inside”. A small group of thirty Greenpeace members and relatives greeted the four activists with applause at the gates of the prison yesterday.

How do you begin to define the man behind the name?  Claude Johnson has built his life providing instructional and inspirational DVD series for those wishing to play the guitar.  He has something for everyone and covers genres such as gospel, country and of course, his true passion, heavy metal.  He’s accomplished, well-spoken and humble.  Oh, and did we mention he’s passionate about the guitar?

We cornered him not long ago as he was working on his latest project and website.  Sol Philcox is a name you may have not heard yet, but you will.  This kid knows the guitar like nobody’s business, except for, of course, Johnson.  These two talents recently teamed up to produce the newest DVD series, “Wicked Chicken Pickin’ Chops”.  In this series, Johnson “countrifies” it.  Below is an excerpt of our recent interview:

Interviewer:  It seems as though everything you touch turns to gold.  You’ve mentored countless musicians, have broken records with your many DVD series and have survived some painful times in your personal life.  Does it ever get to be too much, too overwhelming?

Johnson:  Sure.  Life has a way of kicking us in the teeth when we least expect it.  Just when we’re convinced life has finally decided to be kind, something happens.  I dunno.  It might be human nature that makes us think like that.  Either way, I have a great family and friends all over the world who stand ready to bring it all around for me, and it doesn’t matter how bad things are and of course, we share each other’s happiness too.

Interviewer:  Tell us about Sol Philcox.

Johnson: This kid is on fire.  He has it all- personality, talent and a drive you just don’t find in kids his age.  He’s not been jaded by recognition and he has a head on his shoulders.  He is nothing short of awesome and he believes in using our God-given gifts to propel us forward.  And buddy does he!  I am so excited for him and know he’s about to embark on one amazing life.

Interviewer:  What’s coming next; say, in the next twelve months?

Johnson: Oh, that’s easy.  I’m devoting a vast part of my time to Sol’s efforts as well as ensuring the DVD series that features him keeps moving forward.  Hopefully, by the end of the year, I’ll be able to take a step back and catch my breath.  Maybe escape for a week or two.

Interviewer:  How do you escape?

Johnson: Much as I love being around people, I can find perspective and get grounded when I’m alone.  It’s not so much about where I am, but how I am when I’m there.  I don’t know, maybe a trip to the mountains for some winter fishing.  I don’t know.  I’ll know it when the idea hits me.
