A PC gaming computer requires a power supply with a minimum of 550 watts. The cost of such is around $60. Going for cheaper power supplies is risky since most of them have issues with power surges.
The minimum specification for the video card should be limited to PCI-express 2.0 which supports DirectX10. The video card determines whether you can play games at high resolution and/or with advanced graphic options.
The hard drive with largest capacity that fits your finances would do. Many people prefer Western Digital or Seagate. You should insist on SATA hard drives as they have faster data transfer rates. Western digital caviar 320GB HD retails at about $ 60.
