Generally, yes, it’s easier to buy a cell phone through your network. although there are other options better maybe… for instance an “unlocked” cell phone. these are just cell phones on e-commerce websites that are unlocked to any wireless network. for instance, i really wanted the pink slvr, but my network (Suncom) didn’t offer it, so i ebayed it for cheap… just took my SIM card out of my Suncom cell phone and put it in my new one and viola! good luck…
