Meeting For The Very First Time At Community Care College

June 5th, 2010

Tulsa, OK June 2010 – Community Care College online students met for the very first time at the annual online student appreciation event held during the yearly CCC Student Appreciation Week.

Many online students attended this special pizza and pop event to meet, greet and talk with classmates, instructors and other staff members from the online campus community. The room was filled with laughter, gasps and others sounds of shock and surprise as people pointed to each other discovering their best friends, favorite classmates and awesome instructors in a face to face encounter.

The night held other surprises as door prizes, game winnings, raffle giveaways and hidden gifts were given and discovered by the online students and their family members.  The online event was designed to help build community among the online students.  During the event we awarded Jody Brown a Medical Billing and Coding recent graduate the online student of the year.  We also officially launched the Online Student Association. The primary purpose of the Online Student Association is to represent students, enhance the student academic experience, and provide program support and services to the online student community.

The event ended with students participating in a resumes seminar provided by the Career Services Department. The online students were very pleased about the event and the school services present and are looking forward to the next one.
