BEND, Oregon – Nissan North America, Inc. recently announced pricing information for the 2014 Nissan GT-R and the 2014 Murano CrossCabriolet. Smolich Nissan in Bend, OR (smolichnissan) will soon carry each of the enhanced vehicles.
The 2014 model year will mark the fourth year of production for the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet, and customers will be able to drive it for less than before. Nissan announced that the MSRP for the Murano CrossCabriolet will be lowered by more than $2,500 for the 2014 model year. The 2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet has been enhanced with 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a refreshed exterior color palette.
The 2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 265 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque. The impressive performance of the Murano CrossCabriolet ranks it among the highest-performing in its class, but is dwarfed in comparison to the Nissan GT-R, which boasts increased output for 2014.
The 2014 Nissan GT-R utilizes new fuel injectors in order to bolster performance numbers. Powered by Nissan’s 3.8-liter twin turbo V6, the 2014 GT-R produces 545 horsepower and 463 lb.-ft. of torque. The addition of a Premium Interior Package adds a touch of elegance and luxury to the exhilarating driving experience delivered by Nissan’s super car.
“The performance enhancements for 2014 signal Nissan’s intent to keep the GT-R on the leading edge of international sports car design, technology and performance year after year after year,” said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, NNA.
The 2014 GT-R will also feature a sculpted interior complete with performance bucket seats, a cockpit-style instrument panel, and multi-function display that includes an on-board driving recorder. Also available will be a specially-designed 11-speaker Bose sound system and Premium Interior Package.
