Asia’s first career website exclusively for the asian sports industry launched today
April 23rd, 2009SportJobsInAsia.com is Asia’s first career website dedicated to the rapidly growing sports industry in Asia. Launched today, it is exclusively focused on servicing event organizers, job seekers and employers within the sports industry in Asia.
SportJobsInAsia.com recognizes the unique needs of the sporting events community and offers services that extend beyond simply matching job seekers and employers. The company offers intern placements, executive search, volunteer placement, and helps recruit, screen, and select volunteers or mass-staff-hires for short term contracts.
With the growth of local sporting events, sportjobsinasia.com looks to provide the services to help make an event successful by finding the right talent with sport-specific experience. These services may range from finding one individual for a national sport association or hundreds of people to help run a marathon.
“A few years ago, it was not really an option to have a career in Sports,” says Lee King Keng, Director of Communications. “After the Beijing Olympics more Asian’s are actively seeking jobs within the sports industry and we believe this will be one of the fastest growing job industries in Asia over the next 5 years.”
In celebration of the outstanding year of sports in Asia and in support of the Youth Olympic Games, all job posting will be made free during the launch period.
