Low Mileage Engines, LLC is proud to announce the addition of several Toyota used engines to their already strong lineup of compact, mid-sized, and full-sized pickup offerings. Adding to the already strong lineup of 2.4L 2RZ-FE, 2.7L 3RZ-FE, 3.4L 5VZ-FE engines, and 4.7L 2UZ-FE engines, Low Mileage Engines is expanding their lineup of used engines to include several later model Toyota truck engines that are seeing a rapid increase in demand from both private consumers and traditional shop purchases nationwide.

The 2005 model year saw a generation of engines first used in the Tacoma beginning in 1995 cease production for use in new vehicles. The 2.4L 2RZ-FE and 2.7L 3RZ-FE were replaced in the Tacoma and 4Runner with the 2.7L 2TR-FE engine. Demand for the 2TR-FE has only begun to see a moderate increase recently, as Toyota quality is as always impressive, leading to minimal engine failure.

With prices for a new 2TR-FE approaching $11,000 from Toyota and re-manufactured engines approaching $8,000, consumers have expressed their desire for a good source of used engines for these vehicles. Low Mileage Engines LLC is proud to be that source, and has excellent availability of these 2.7L engines which ship standard with a 1 year, unlimited mile, part only warranty. For $100, a labor warranty can also be purchased.

The 3.4L 5VZ-FE was replaced with the much larger 4.0L 1GR-FE engine in the 2005 model year. The quality of the 1GR-FE engine is markedly similar to that of the 2TR-FE engine, with minimal premature failure – and similar cost for new and remanufactured engines. Again, seeing a need, Low Mileage Engines LLC has stepped in to fill the void, and is supplying well warranted used engines at a fraction of the cost consumers would otherwise pay being limited to only new and remanufactured engines.

The 1GR-FE also made an appearance in the 2005 Toyota Tundra. With differing mounting and sensor points, the engine is not easily modifiable to fit the Toyota Tacoma (or vice versa). Low Mileage Engines is able to supply these engines as direct interchange packages to customers with Toyota Tundras. The price of these is also a fraction of the cost that would be paid for a new or remanufactured engine.

The 4.7L 2UZ-FE engine which has seen service in several Lexus vehicles, the Toyota Tundra, and the Toyota Sequoia is still carried by Low Mileage Engines. Demand for this engine has been surprisingly low, attesting to the extreme quality built into these motors by Toyota.

In 2007, the Tundra received its largest engine yet: the 5.7L 3UR-FE. LME can offer customers the most significant savings of any Toyota Truck engine in its lineup on the 3UR-FE – they sell for close to $25,000 new. Low Mileage Engines can currently supply these engines for less than $6,000 well equipped with an excellent warranty.

All of the used engines mentioned in this release are eligible for a new warranty program launched by Low Mileage Engines designed to increase the already tremendous value afforded consumers by used engines. For $100, Low Mileage Engines will sell any customer a labor warranty on any used engines smaller than 5.0L in displacement. For all engines over 5.0L, the cost raises slightly to $150. In the event of a warrantable failure during the warranty period, this optional labor warranty will allow Low Mileage Engines to cover labor to replace the engine at a rate of $45 dollar an hour for the number of hours specified by the Mitchell Labor Guide.
