Seasonably Chic Showcase Event to Benefit Freestore Foodbank

Cincinnati, OH — November 2, 2009— Local ladies can get some great deals for a great cause with the first annual Seasonably Chic Showcase. Cincy Chic (www.CincyChic.com), the only online lifestyle publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, and Locals on Living (Cincinnati.com/LOL) an affiliate of the Cincinnati.Com network, are hosting the Seasonably Chic Showcase on Saturday, November 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Phoenix downtown.

More than 30 vendors and boutiques will be present at the event. Two Brunch ‘N’ Learns will provide attendees with useful and timely tips: Poeme’s Unique Gift Giving and Wrapping Tips at 12:00 p.m. followed by Sacksteder’s Interiors Holiday Décor Tips and Trends at 1 p.m. Paris J Boutique will be showing off the latest Winter fashion trends in two fashion shows at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

No RSVP is required. The admission “fee” into the event is one canned good, which will be donated to the Freestore Foodbank. In exchange for the canned good, attendees will receive a swag bag valued at $100 and exclusive discounts from the following vendors:

Cincy Chic, the only online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is teaming up with Patty Brisben, CEO and Founder of Pure Romance, to give readers insight into her 20 years of relationship enhancement experience. Brisben’s Q&A column, entitled “Ask Patty,” will run every other week, starting this week.

Cincy Chic to host “Wearable Art” Fashion Show

Local publication brings art to life for one unique night of fun, fashion and fine art

CINCINNATI- September 18, 2009 – Art will become fashion next Friday as local artists and boutiques feature their artistic wares for everyday wearability.

The “Wearable Art” Fashion Show will take place on September 25, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at Sandra Small Gallery in Covington KY. The event is hosted by Cincy Chic (www.cincychic.com), the only online lifestyle publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, and will include artesian-crafted jewelry from Felicia Liban, hand-painted silk scarves by Kimber Henson and one-of-a-kind fall fashions from Paris J Boutique.

Cincy Chic Stirs Up Chemistry for Charity

Leading Online Women’s Publication helps local singles find a mate while supporting a local philanthropy

CINCINNATI- September 14, 2009 – Love will be in the air this Thursday as Tri-State singles meet and mingle to support a local philanthropy founded by two newlyweds.

The “Chemistry for Charity: Bring a Bachelor” event will be on September 17 from 6-9 pm at Mesh Restaurant in West Chester.  Single ladies are encouraged to bring a single male friend, who’s not perfect for them, but would recommend to others.  Attendees are encouraged to wear what they would on a first date and get ready to mingle!

Discounted shopping, free 5-minute massages as well as half-priced food and drinks until 9pm will be available to all attendees.

A $10 donation will be accepted at door. Net proceeds will benefit the New Chance Foundation, a philanthropy inspired by the Akers Family who appeared on “Extreme Makeover Home Edition.”  The founders of New Chance Foundation met while fundraising for the Akers Family, fell in love and recently married.

Through this foundation, they continue to make sure the Akers dream of a new accessible home came true with fundraisers and spreading the word about the family throughout Cincinnati and West Chester.
