IIFT Designers Buzzed the Fashion Siren of Delhi with “Celestial Futurama”

The lights dimmed, as the models walked the ramp on the thumping music at “Celestial Futurama” held on 28th September 2011 at Sirifort Auditorium to celebrate 21 glorifying years of International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT). Mr. Ratnadeep Lal, Founder Chairman of IIFT group organized the fashion extravaganza to showcase a spectacular collection of 30 aspiring designers from 30 cities of International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) Centers acrossIndia.

The ramp was dazzled by models like Amanpreet Wahi, Shipra, Sarayu, Vira, Anasthasia, Puneet, Manish, Pradeep. Audience was glued to the runway fashion by budding designers. Emcee Palab Bose entertained people with his witty script and made the affair a memorable one.  The occasion was graced by Charu Lal, Bharti Taneja, Former Delhi Mayor Aarti Mehra, and many more. The mesmerizing show was choreographed by renowned choreographer & Film Maker Kaushik Ghosh and Directed by Mr. Ratnadeep Lal, Founder Chairman of IIFT group.

Mr. Ratnadeep Lal, Founder Chairman of IIFT group said “It is a wonderful moment for me & my institute to celebrate 21 years of success in the Industry. I would like to thank all my students, faculty members for extending their support and making “Celestial Futurama” a fantastic show.  Our annual fashion show is a platform for the students to showcase their talent & creativity.”

The aspiring designers created a buzz by depicting Centenary Celebrations of Delhi, London Olympics 2012, 3D, Taste of India etc in their innovative collection. The collections were a consortium of Prêt & Couture, western casuals, western formals, Indian contemporary and traditionalIndia.

The Luton Wedding Fair Featuring Inspiring Fashion Shows

Pinnacle companies in the wedding and events industry will showcase their works on Saturday 19 September 2009 at 32 Guildford Street, Luton, Bedfordshire LU1 2NR from 10am to 5pm at The Luton Wedding Fair sponsored by Marks Events. The show will feature fabulous exhibits and the latest ideas in wedding planning.  An array of exquisite collections and services from top designers and facilitators will be on display. Prominent local wedding professionals will be present at the show to help brides and visitors  plan their special day.

With breeze and sunshine greeting the Marks Events Team a few months prior to the event , Event Director Abi said that she couldn’t be happier with the quality of leading businesses that will be exhibiting at the fair.

The Luton Wedding Fair promises to be a spectacular event . The fair will be declared open by the Deputy Mayor of Luton; Councillor Morel Benard, The Labour Member of Parliament for Luton  North since 1997; MP Rt Hon Kelvin Hopkins and  Councillor David Taylor; an inspiring man who represents the Luton south ward,  at 10:00a.m. Kelvin Hopkins MP, a highly respected lifelong socialist,  has been happily married for almost 45 years and has resided in Luton for almost 41 years. It will be a great privilege to all brides and grooms-to-be to have a man who has accomplished so much success in his career and marriage to also launch the fair and spend some time with the exhibitors and visitors. Two inspiring fashion shows will be held on the day . There will be live band performance and makeup demonstration on the day as well.

During the pre-fair party held by the Marks Events team recently, Waynett Peters, the wedding fair coordinator said: “The Luton Wedding Fair is a unique event as it holds the edge on the multicultural flair of the folks of Luton’s diverse ethnic background further showcasing the beauty in some of the cultural wedding items in today’s market.”
