“Effective marketing campaign can help the companies to reap the benefits of growth stage,” says Stellar Concepts and Design

December 9th, 2009

“Friday, the 4th November’09, gave our economy a number that is though not so relieving about rising U.S. unemployment, but the best so far since the day recession engulfed the economy. According to White House Report, 640,000 jobs have been created or saved by the $787 billion stimulus package. The report also projects that the stimulus money would create or save 3.5 million jobs by December 2010. Though it is hard to come to the conclusion at this point of time as the small size of gain is indeed smaller than the jobs lost, it is however, an indication of the growth stage. This will also impact the hiring decisions and marketing activities of Companies as they prepare themselves for the survival of the fittest. And, the best way to reap the benefits of this phase is to design marketing campaign effectively,” opines Anthony Giudice, President and Founder of Stellar Concepts and Design.

Stellar Concepts and Design, nation’s one of the leading full service marketing and advertising companies specializing in all areas of marketing (both online and offline), has been offering affordable marketing campaigns for small to medium sized businesses and help them to continue their mark in any phase of economy (down, recovery, boom) and improve the market share.

Market is an unpredictable place where the environment keeps on changing. To sustain in the market a Company adopts two marketing strategies viz; Proactive Strategy and a Reactive Strategy. When a business acts after an occurrence of a change it is called as a Reactive Strategy whereas when the company plans to do something on the occurrence or non-occurrence of a change it is called as a Proactive Strategy. A strong company prepares itself for every change and is ready to mould themselves by their pre-planned strategies. Hence, a proactive approach can help the companies absorb the shock and run smoothly in any phase of economy.

“Stellar Concepts and Design will help companies save their unnecessary financial expenses. We are giving them the option to outsource their marketing and promotional activities. They can save themselves from suffering a huge amount of loss by not taking the risk of implementing marketing plans that are made in-house by people who lack the required knowledge, experience and expertise. We have many years of experience and expertise in this field and we have the confidence of taking your business to the right track, in the right market, within the right segment”, concludes Anthony Giudice.

“Outsourcing Marketing and Advertising Plans is safe”, says Stellar Concepts and Design

October 2nd, 2009

“Many start-up companies do not have enough budgets to afford an efficient marketing department. Others may have sufficient capacity but might lack an expertise over marketing and promotion. Most of the companies hire employees to prepare their marketing plans. Most of the employees lack the knowledge and expertise of preparing a company’s marketing and advertising plan. The company bears all the losses incurred by the wrong planning of the marketing activities along with the cost of hiring and training the employees”, explains Anthony Giudice, President and Founder of Stellar Concepts and Design.

Stellar Concepts and Design is a leading company which deals in formulating both online and offline marketing plans and strategies. It is an outsourcing firm that helps small and medium sized businesses in carrying out their marketing and promotional activities. Rockland Inc. Marketing Firm Redefines Outsourcing To Fit Clients Needs

August 2nd, 2009

Troy, MI – In today’s economy, return on investment is what companies look for in their partners and vendors.  Outsourcing work has come to be a tried-and-tested model and is recognized as a long-term competitive strategy for success. Metro Detroit companies now have a great new resource when it comes to outsourcing – Rockland Inc. The question going around now is not ‘why outsource?’ but ‘why not outsource?’

Reasons for Outsourcing

The economist, Adam Smith, says in his treatise The Wealth of Nations, “If a foreign country can supply us with a commodity cheaper than we ourselves can make it, it is better to buy it of them.” Outsourcing as we know it today, is merely a progression of an idea that has existed since early days of trade.  As companies grow in size and operations, it becomes increasingly clear that their focus has to be redirected to their core activities while the non-core functions can be ‘sent out’ or ‘outsourced’ to vendors specialized in that particular function.  Rockland Inc fits that model for sales (retention and acquisition) and marketing.

Different clients contract Rockland’s marketing and sales teams for a variety of reasons.

Focus on core functions: Companies that outsource certain routine functions to alternate channels or experts are capable of focusing on their core competency.   Rockland has over the past 6 years been able to help clients launch marketing campaigns in different markets in a relatively short time span.  This allows our clients to focus on developing new products and services and taking care of their customers.

Redirect strategic internal resources for core activities: An Outsourcing process to external third party ensures that an organization’s internal resources are freed up for more mission-critical activities.

Lower infrastructure investments: Companies that decide to outsource find that expensive infrastructure requirements are cut back drastically as some of the functions move to external locations. Cutting edge IT systems, state-of-the-art customer service call centers and technical helpdesks entail heavy investments to companies. By outsourcing these functions to external vendors, companies can keep their investments in these areas very low.

Access to world-class capabilities: Apart from the financial benefits associated, another reason why companies outsource work is to have processes delivered by teams that have operational expertise in the outsourced process. Outsourcing gives companies access to world-class capabilities and infrastructure in the outsourced function.

Central and Eastern Europe IT Outsourcing Review 2008: Central and Eastern Europe strengthen their position on the IT outsourcing market

July 28th, 2009

27 July, 2009 – Kiev – The research “Central and Eastern Europe IT Outsourcing Review 2008” provides an evidence of the rapid development of IT outsourcing services market in the Central and Eastern Europe. The CEE cluster becomes the real player on the global outsourcing market. The clients are getting more interested in the “nearshoring” to the CEE region than  in the offshoring to India or China.  The customers become more sophisticated in their business relationships. There has been a shift from simple cost savings as a motivation to valuing the experience of outsourcing services providers and efficiency of cooperation between the client and provider teams. The advantages of the CEE countries such as cultural compatibility with Europe and North America, technical and business experience are of great value for the clients.

One of the main objectives of the research conducted by the Central and Eastern European Outsourcing Association (CEEOA) with the support of Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS) is to provide the holistic view on the potential of the CEE region as a global cluster for provision of nearshore IT outsourcing for the Western European countries and for offshore IT outsourcing for the North American market.

“CEE IT Outsourcing Review” is conducted for the second time.  The 2007 research report “Central and Eastern Europe IT Outsourcing Review 2007″ indicated that there was a great interest from the clients consuming outsourcing services and research companies.  Following positive feedback for the 2007 Report, the CEEOA decided to commission an annual review on “CEE IT Outsourcing Review”, resulting in this 2008 Report. “CEE IT Outsourcing Review 2008” was conducted during January to July 2009. The national IT and outsourcing associations, largest outsourcing companies, and independent experts were invited as respondents.  The Ukrainian software development company NET Technology Center WEB100 (http://www.web100.com.ua), who provide offshore outsourcing services and deals with the development of IT solutions for B2B communications and business solutions based on Social Media approaches, sponsored the research.

The research examines key development indicators of the IT outsourcing market in the 16 countries of the Central and Eastern Europe region including market value, number of professionals, number of IT companies providing outsourcing services and market rates.

“CEE IT Outsourcing Review” includes the detailed country profiles, experts estimations on the outsourcing market development during the recession period, their opinion on new tendencies and forecasts for the market recovery, profiles of the leading outsourcing companies in the region.

Victor Maznyuk, President of Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, one of the CEEOA founders, noted,

“Outsourcing industry in the Central and Eastern Europe does not suffer significantly during the financial crisis. At the outset of 2009 there was insignificant number of the outsourcing companies closures.  The outsourcing industry always expected from the outsourcing players  to meet the client requirements quickly and to control the expenses. Having a great experience of the development on the competitive market of outsourcing services provision, the Eastern European companies learned how to work successfully during the recession period without  taking drastic measures and significant business changes.

As a whole, the crisis produced the effect of improvement in the industry. The number of IT specialists slightly increased, their salary and rental fee underwent insignificant drop. This allowed companies to reduce the cost of services and to be confident during the recession period. Without any doubt I can claim that outsourcing industry is ready for the increase of provided services value in view of the forthcoming economic recovery.”

The official version of the research “Central and Eastern Europe IT Outsourcing Review 2008” is available at the information portal ITONews.eu (http://www.itonews.eu) and at the CEEOA website.

About CEEOA

Central and Eastern European Outsourcing Association (CEEOA) (www.ceeoa.org) was founded in 2008.  The members of the association are the leading national IT and Outsourcing associations from the Central and Eastern Europe, among them Baltic Outsourcing Association (BOA), Ukrainian HI-TECH Initiative, Hungarian Service Industry and Outsourcing Association (HOA), Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS) from Romania, Bulgarian Web Association (BWA) and ASPIRE – Association of IT & Business Process Services Companies (Poland). One of the main objectives of CEEOA is to promote the Central and Eastern European Region as competitive alternative to other Global offshoring destinations, and to increase services delivery quality and volume to the recognized standards.

Preferred destinations and services for Outsourcing

February 10th, 2009

Outsourcing has become a foundation in the world economy today. Large organizations are moving on to reduce their operating costs by outsourcing their work at lower costs.

Over the years offshore outsourcing has taken on a fast pace due to advancement in satellite and internet technologies, better connectivity and a constant search for cheaper labor to cut costs and beat competition.

Many third world or developing nations are now acting as offshore outsourcing destinations to developed nations. Here is a list of top ten outsourcing destinations:

  1. India takes the premier position in this global outsourcing surge, cornering approximately 80-90% of the global offshore market. It has to its credit a large pool of talented and English speaking professionals, robust infrastructure as well as the advantage of providing outsourced services with specific cost advantages. With cost competitiveness, a highly skilled labor pool and a high level of service maturity, India is still the topper in the outsourcing market.
  2. China is emerging as the next big IT outsourcing destination and is in tight competition with India to be the leader. It has liberalized the economy, laws and policies and laid a major emphasis on education. China is fast becoming a low cost alternative to its economically developed neighbors like, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

  3. Middle East, especially Dubai, is blessed with innovative technology, reliable infrastructure and the mixed population that come from various other countries who are well-educated and willing to work hard, makes Dubai one among the spicy destinations of outsourcing.

  4. Philippines: A potential offshore outsourcing destination, Philippines has to its credit a vast population that speaks English with American accents due to the exposure to Western culture and global business.

  5. Malaysia has well-developed world-class infrastructure and its outsourcing industry has good government support. A number of policies are being put in place to widen the labor pool and improve proficiency in English and technical skills.

  6. Eastern and Central Europe: Other eastern and central European nations such as Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania are also seen as good offshore outsourcing destinations for the near future. They have the advantage of offering services to its European counterparts with near shore facilities at a much lower cost. These nations have to their credit a large pool of tech savvy workers with cultural compatibility to Western Europe.

  7. Ireland looks promising as far as IT outsourcing is concerned owing to its potentially stable government, better and supportive laws and regulations, good IT and networking infrastructure and English speaking well educated youth which makes Ireland a good competitor in the offshore outsourcing market. The only problem being it has a costlier workforce compared to other countries.

  8. Canada with its geographic proximity to the U.S. having almost similar time zones, its skilled labor force with well educated, computer literate and English speaking workforce is stiubbornly making its presence felt in the offshore outsourcing arena.

  9. Russia’s future looks promising with a low cost and well educated workforce, but the major problem being lack of English knowledge, instability and underdeveloped IT and networking infrastructure that act as its major rivals.

  10. South Africa is slowly emerging as an outsourcing destination that is taking advantage of increased competition worldwide. South Africa is advantageous to the UK market as it lies in the same time zone and has a similar culture. It has to its advantage good infrastructure; call center operation capabilities and mastery over the English language

The most wanted 10 outsourcing services are:

  1. Call Processing Outsourcing

  2. Back office outsourcing

  3. Data processing

  4. Video and audio editing/processing

  5. Research and Legal services

  6. Graphics and image editing

  7. Engineering services

  8. Software automation

  9. GIS data processing

  10. HR & accounting

Is Outsourcing a Cure for Economic recession?

February 10th, 2009

In this rat race for survival, most people cheat their way into expand their business horizons, but nothing will ever overthrow Great Business Planning. It forms the framework from which every good business emanates. Without a firm and strong foundation, your business is bound to fail.

The reliability of outsourcing industry roots from the luscious facilities it offers to the clients. The general thinking was that outsourcing has been experiencing major cut-offs because of the financial crisis. But there is actually an escalation of business inflow in the outsourcing direction. Cost effectiveness stands out to be the most desirable thing as this is exactly what outsourcing advocates. The only vertical which would suffer may be the call center industry as it becomes the first to vanish when cutting down business processes progresses. It is, after all, not exactly an income churner.

Small businesses are turning to outsourcing as a means of compensating for their losses with low cost labor. This setup allows their business to function even with minimum capital. With the number of companies shutting down because of the economic crash down looming over the world, morale is down and climbing uphill is quite difficult.

In the face of economic crisis, businesses are considering the transfer of more business functions offshore from data entry to knowledge process outsourcing as they compare the cost advantages, manpower resources, and innovative workstations of the outsourcing companies with unmanageable problems of doing jobs in-house.

Outsourcing will save you a great deal of money and it is the only option to lead you through the turbulent financial storm. India, China, Philippines etc are some of the hot destinations in the realm of outsourcing.
