Customers of WebEden can now make use of these social networks to drive visitors and interest in their websites.

The new Website Builder platform allows customers to invite Gmail and Hotmail contacts to become members of their WebEden website. They can also make use of their Facebook friends and Twitter followers by sending membership invitations to them too. All this happens from within a brand new messaging center within the WebEden control panel. In addition, WebEden customers can ‘Tweet’ to their Twitter followers and post notes to their Facebook account.

The videos demonstrate various functions, tools and extras in the website builder control panel.

WebEden has seen its customer base grow exponentially over the last few years and as such, the number of customer support queries has grown too. Therefore a library of video tutorials is an effective resource to allow users to find answers to website building queries. The tutorials are now available in the WebEden blog, as well as on Webeden’s own YouTube channel. The tutorials have already been watched by thousands of users.

The MD of WebEden Ken Builder said: “We were amazed to see how popular the tutorials became. After a week the first batch of tutorials had already been seen by a couple of hundred people. Now, that number is in the thousands. We are always looking for ways to connect with our customers and the video tutorials were just another way to do just that. At the same time we hoped that they would be useful for our customers, and it would certainly seem that they are. One day we would like to have covered every single feature with a tutorial”.

New tutorials are constantly added and several customers have signed up for subscriptions (which means they’ll be notified when a new one is live). WebEden expects the number of tutorials to exceed 30 by the summer of 2009.
