Portable DVD Player Opinions Wanted, Get A Mystery Gadget Reward

September 30th, 2009

Shenzhen, Guangdong ( Prfriend.com ) September 29, 2009 — Chinavasion is so eager to give people the portable DVD Player models that they actually want that it is rewarding people just for giving their opinion.

Chinavasion is giving away a mystery prize worth US$80 to the 20th person who tells them what they want in a portable DVD Player on the Chinavasion blog “Portable DVD Player Poll – Tell Us What You Think And Win A Prize”

But why is Chinavasion doing this?

According to Rose Li, the PR Manager for wholesale electronics supplier Chinavasion the launch of the rip-capable portable DVD player was so successful that the company wanted to get customers the portable DVDs they actually wanted.

“Sales of portable DVDs have risen by 600% in the three weeks since the launch,” according to Rose Li. “We are absolutely blown away by how quickly people have taken to the rip capable portable DVD players.”

Three new portable DVD players in Chinavasion’s extensive line-up com have a rip function which allows them to store movies, photos, music and document files from CD and DVD on USB sticks and SD cards.

According to Chinavasion’s Rose Li providing getting the portable DVD players that people want is just part of the drive to get affordable, cutting-edge electronics out to the entire world.

“Chinavasion just wants to make the world aware of all the fantastic technology coming out of China,” said Rose Li.

Chinavasion does that by putting everything through a double QC process, giving everything a 12 month warranty and shipping out things as fast as 4 days according to Rose Li.

“There would be nothing worse than missing this promotion, it is the chance of a lifetime,” said Rose Li. “It is a chance to shape the products that you see on Chinavasion and be rewarded for it in the process.”

China Wholesale Seller Announces Record 81% Of Orders Sent Out Within 1 Day

July 29th, 2009

Shenzhen, Guangdong (PR Friend) July, 29, 2009: China Wholesale company Chinavasion has taken the lead as China’s fastest dropshipper processing more than 80% of its orders within one working day.

Dropshipping is a supply chain management system where the vendor doesn’t hold stock, but passes customer details onto their dropshipping supplier instead, who ships it to the vendor’s customer.

For dropshipping to be a viable supply chain management process the dropship supplier needs to process and ship high quality products quickly and reliably.

In fact, according to Rose Li, PR manager for wholesale electronics company Chinavasion, dropship vendors and resellers whose suppliers take longer than two weeks to ship often are often punished by both their customers and eBay.

“Resellers who’s shipping time is between two and three weeks will end up receiving terrible customer reviews and no eBay listing discounts,” according to Rose Li.

Unfortunately long shipping and turnaround times are the sad realities for many wholesale dropship companies in China.

For some wholesale distributor companies this is because they adopt a Just In Time shipping policy where items aren’t collected from their supplier until their customer places an order.

A large number of smaller China trade companies have developed bad reputations for long, drawn out, shipping times for this reason.

According to Chinavasion’s Rose Li Chinavasion has avoided falling in this trap by keeping stock on hand to fill orders quickly for customers.

In June, the wholesale electronics supplier, Chinavasion, processed more than 81% of its customers order within one business day.

Chinavasion achieves same-day ship-outs on an even higher proportion of dropship orders.

Up to 96% of single piece orders from regular dropship vendors are sent out within one day.

According to Chinavasion’s Rose Li this presents a fantastic opportunity for dropshippers and resellers selling on eBay.

Especially as it usually only takes two days on average for an international courier company to get items from China to most main cities.

“A reseller using Chinavasion could almost guarantee that their customer will have the item in their hands within four to five working days,” according to Rose Li. “That guarantees them building a great deal of customer satisfaction and return business.”

According to Chinavasion’s Rose Li this, combined with Chinavasion’s industry-leading QC process, its high level of support and its 12 month warranty on all products made it the natural choice for resellers.

“Dropshipping is about maintaining a great service on behalf of our dropship vendors, many of whom are big eBay powersellers,” according to Rose Li. “At Chinavasion we don’t only work hard to help our customers: we value our customers’ customers too.”

Wholesaler Chinavasion Responds to Closure of Global Sources Direct

December 26th, 2008

Shenzhen, Guangdong ( prfriend.com ) December, 25, 2008 The global economic downturn’s latest victim was China ecommerce site “Global Sources Direct”, which closed for business on December 1.
Sources close to the firm reacted with surprise at the abrupt closure, and reflected on the challenges the Global Sources Direct business model faced.
Global Sources Direct was a venture of NASDAQ-listed Global Sources, in operation since June 2005. The company was a joint venture between the business to business giant and online auction site eBay.
Offering no detailed public explanation for the closure, General Manager Jennifer Leung made the announcement with a simple website message on December 9, 2008.
Representatives of wholesale distributor Chinavasion has since reacted, giving their analysis of the critical difficulties Global Sources Direct faced.
The first issue Chinavasion representatives identified was the difficulty of managing ‘virtual inventory’.
Major ecommerce sellers, like Amazon.com have pioneered the concept of “Virtual Inventory” which has the seller relying on suppliers for stock.
In such a system, the seller does not actually carry any volume of stock themselves. They instead rely on the goodwill between themselves and their suppliers.
According to Chinavasion’s Rose Li, this is an impracticable approach in a developing economy like Mainland China.
“Virtual inventory means you rely totally on your suppliers. As the seller, you cannot afford inconsistency in product quality or supply,” says Rose Li. “But most manufacturers in China cannot yet offer quality control or stock efficiency that is acceptable for international buyers.”
In response to such challenges Chinese Wholesaler Chinavasion has reported ongoing investment in its own in-house quality control process, checking all items before they go onto warehouse shelves.
Secondly, at Chinavasion, products are only advertised for sale if they are actually ready to be shipped to customers.
“Virtual inventory can never be a substitute for real inventory,” summarized Rose Li.
Chinavasion’s Rose Li predicted that Global Sources would now focus on its core activities of business-to-business media and advertising.
