The 2013 New York International Auto Show opens to the public on March 29 and will remain open through April 7. Automakers, however, will have the chance to release their newest models during two press days before the event, held on March 27 and March 28. According to a representative from Thousand Oaks Toyota, Toyota will hold its press conference on March 27 and Scion’s will take place on the 28. Both automakers have a significant unveiling planned: Toyota will be launching the 2014 Toyota Highlander while Scion will reveal a revised 2014 Scion tC.
Toyota’s unveiling takes place at 9:10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. The presentation will be held at the Jacob Javits Center, in the Galleria Level 4. Fans may watch globally via Livestream. Following the press conference, this broadcast will be available for continuous replay at the same web address.
Very little has been revealed on the all-new 2014 Highlander. The Japanese automaker has, however,
released a teaser photo, which is viewable through Auto Blog. This image reveals a slight portion of the front grille, as well as one slender headlamp. For the most part, this crossover remains shrouded in secrecy until its unveiling.
Scion will host its unveiling on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 9:55 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. This presentation will also be held in the Galleria Level Four of the Jacob Javits Center.
According to Scion, the 2014 tC has undergone a few changes. The two-door sports coupe was last submitted to redesigning in 2011, so experts predict that the 2014 updates will be minor.
Both vehicles will be available at Thousand Oaks Toyota of Thousand Oaks, California, near Los Angeles, upon production and release.
